Blush is a very service-oriented club, possibly because the crowd isn’t as large as other spots.  Blush Tuesdays is Industry Night and has quickly become a favorite for locals and visitors alike.  Lighting up the club are 300 individual color-changing lanterns hanging from the ceiling, and the dance floor is made of lit onyx.  Art hangs on the walls and the crystal tables dance with light.  Resident [DJ] Mighty Mi supplies a rhythmic flow of dance, hip-hop and house to the patrons.  If you need some fresh air head out to Blush’s patio, where more tables and a bar make the air seem cooler.  A couple of televisions sit above the bar and there are purse lockers in the VIP section and there’s a whole separate area in the women’s restroom dedicated to giving ladies the space they need to freshen up. Blush is located at the Wynn Casino and is open daily from 9 p.m. - 4 a.m.  General admission is $30 and Front of the line pass are $50 but you must arrive before midnight.  Blush also offers VIP packages and accepts cash and all major credit cards.  Blush’s intimate setting makes this high energy club one the best night club experiences in Las Vegas. Darren Monie    

The Prive’s hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 10p.m. to 4a.m. General admission for women (Monday, Friday and Saturday) is $20 per person. General admission for men (Monday, Friday and Saturday) is $30 per person. Front-of-Line for women (Monday, Friday and Saturday) is $40 per person but must arrive before 11 p.m. Front-of-Line for men (Monday, Friday and Saturday) is $60 per person and again you need to get there before 11 p.m. Couples (Monday, Friday and Saturday) front of the line admission is $90 per couple and that’s good for one man and one woman or two women and once again you must arrive before 11 p.m. Prive also offers VIP packages on Monday, Friday and Saturday. The Rumjungle is located inside Mandalay Bay, 3950 Las Vegas Blvd South, Las Vegas, NV and was designed by renowned designer Jeffrey Beers.  This 20,000 square-foot club is a living indoor jungle. Guests pass through a 22-foot wall of fire and are met with the cool rush of a waterfall.  Inside is an epic restaurant and nightclub accented by an indoor tropical island. The immense three-tiered space features a 144 foot long, 19 foot high world’s largest rum.  What’s the use having the largest rum bar without having the world’s largest rum menu and it does.  The menu features over 220 different varieties of rum.  Delicious cuisine is cooked over open fire pits, accentuated by the world’s two largest conga drums.  This Vegas hotspot caters to a more mature audience, so the club goer can have fun in a comfortable environment.  A strict dress code is enforced and yes, you must pass the velvet rope.  DJ Toast, DJ Creativity, DJ Homicide and DJ Randy lend a dance/ hip-hop back beat that keeps this club bumpin.  Ladies, don’t miss this club on Monday’s Ladies appreciation night.

Admittedly, I steer clear of over the top clubs because most feel like they are trying too hard.   Rumjungle delivers the great fun it promises.  Each bottle is illuminated with a laser beam of light while go-go girls dance between bottles of wine to dueling congas.  The food all comes skewered on swords.  A great deal of thought went into the various clever designs and schemes and almost instantly, rumjungle became one of the hottest clubs in Vegas, with lines of partiers out the door every night, ready to dance to live world-beat music. Get there before 10pm to avoid lines and consider having dinner before 11pm, when the kitchen closes.  Dinner is costly, but it’s a multicourse, all-you-can-eat feast of flame pit-cooked Brazilian food. For the amount of food and the waiving of the cover charge, dinner is a good deal. After 11p.m. there is a cover charge ($20 to $25).  The club is open ’til 2a.m. on weeknights, 4a.m. Thursday through Saturday nights and is closed Tuesday and Wednesday.This fun place has won the Critic’s Award for Best Place to Dance and Best New Hotel Restaurant given by the Las Vegas Review-Journal. The Mandalay Bay Resort houses a refreshing two-story jungle complete with waterfalls and the world’s largest rum bar. The Lava Flow is a flaming volcano-bowl filled with dark rum, crushed pineapple, mango, brandy and orange juice. Try the Fire Pit, an eight-course meal including skewered kebabs of meat.  This club makes everyone feel like a VIP and even offers party packages for bachelor, bachlorette and birthday parties, this is one rain forest that remains safe from destruction. Darren Monie

 Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel has become one of my absolute favorite Las Vegas Nightclubs. Once you step through the velvet rope, check out the decadent hallways, and take the elevator down to the main room.  The doormen are accepting of fashion and only the sexiest people are allowed in.  The music offers something for everyone, and features DJs Melo, ScottyRay, Jack LaFleur, DJ5, Clinton Sparks and Presto One.  Club music is a variety and smooth blend of Hip-Hop, Rock, Mashup and House, and the decor of the club keeps on track with the rockstar feel.  When you arrive at the outer doors of Body English it will seem pretty chaotic as there aren’t any ropes or lines for general admission customers to get into. Get ready to fight your way towards the front, this is much easier if you are accompanied by women and are dressed fashionably.   Body English can be a little crowded at times so just plan on letting loose and enjoying the moment.   The earlier you get to Body English the better, make your way to the doorman and get the girls in your party up front, and try and make eye contact with the lead doorman as he passes by. Be patient and friendly.  Once inside, you will walk into a choice of 2 lines, one for paying customers, one is the comp line.  Then there is the VIP entrance and isn’t really a line at all.  As you pass through the cashier and ID doorman, you can choose the stairs or the elevator. Tim, the midget elevator operator, will ask you how far down you want to go. Once the elevator door opens you are faced with a sexy crowd an energetic atmosphere, and the waitresses are beautiful, you are now actually in the “upstairs” portion of the club.  The bar is immediately to your left, and there is another one downstairs in front of you. The first bar is much less crowded so get your drinks here. Most of the “upstairs” of the club is VIP for booths, so unless you have a table or know someone on the inside, don’t bother with it. Just head down the stairs and get the night started.  There is a hidden VIP room down the stairs to your left.  After you are done partying go upstairs into the Casino and have breakfast at Lucky’s Café (ask for the $8 steak and shrimp special) or walk across the street and continue the party at Rainbow Bar and Grill.             Fans of the Fab Four will enjoy the Revolution club, or Rev, as the locals call it.  Designed for synergy with a Cirque du Soleil’s-Beatles themed “Love next Door Show”, Revolution is wowing tourists and locals alike with its private booths , sexy servers clad in hippie apparel , classic beanbag chairs, psychedelic lighting and, ever-changing fractal projections on every bit of available wall space. Revolution is earning its’ place among the very best nightclubs in Vegas.  Located in The Mirage at 3400 Las Vegas Blvd South, the low lighting and high volume make the energy spike in this after hours spot.  When the Fab Four tunes give way to pumping dance music, the lounge goes right to club and gives way to heavy beats of house and hip-hop.  Drop by late on Monday nights for Cirque du Soleil’s “Family Nights,” when the performers from all the Cirque du Soleil’s shows from all over Vegas gather to dance and enjoy the adrenaline fueled dance mixes.

The Revolution operates Monday through Saturday, 10  p.m. to 4 a.m. and the Abbey Road is open from noon to 4 a.m.  Daily.  The interior has little Beatles feel and a bit more 60’s shag appeal.  The furnishings are  beanbag chairs and silver mirrors.  The music changes from night to night (see below) so in order to truly appreciate this club, one must choose the correct night to attend.  The Abbey Road Bar fronts this club, and is a good hangout and cool down.  The club boasts a 400 person capacity and ATMs remain accessible in the casino.  Dress code is for fashionable attire and cash plus all major credit cards are accepted. Monday: House of Cirque present DJs Digital Boy and Shane Thomas starting the night with mash-ups before switching to European underground house music. The public can also join off-duty performers from Vegas’ Cirque du Soleil shows as they relax and dance. Tuesday: “Live Revolution” together with Los Angeles’ Indie 103.1, Revolution Lounge bring in under-the-radar and up-and-coming indie rock groups from the U.S. and abroad for live performances, supported by members of all the all-vinyl Bargain DJ Collective. Wednesday: ROCKET, industry night, featuring DJ Spair spinning rock with back beats and late night rock mash-ups. Thursday: This Is NOT commercial, featuring DJ Robert Oleysyck spinning the best of indie rock, dance and hip-hop tracks. Also on special Thursdays, look for “This is…” where the blank gets filled in by the visiting DJ’s hometown — such as DJ Paul Sevingy turning the night into This is New York. Friday: Chick, featuring VIP entry for ladies, while DJ Leo Teo and guest DJs spin hip-hop and mash-ups. Huge elevation changes, lush green scenery combined with cascading waterfalls lie in heavy contrast with the desert scenery of Vegas at The Falls Golf Club at Lake Las Vegas. This course was meticulously designed by Jack Nicklaus, and it totally rocks! It is breathtaking! It is located in Henderson, but that’s just a skip and a hop from the strip. Steep topography is the norm here. The meandering streams flow in cooling beauty throughout the entire course. Do not let the fact that this course is pure eye candy make you believe that it’s not optimally challenging. Do you think Jack would put his name on something made for wimps?

Pete Dye designed the longest course in Las Vegas. The Wolf Course at Paiute Resort is 7600 yards of some of the toughest golfing that you will ever experience. Bring plenty of wedges with you because if you are using any more than an 8 iron, you’re going to have a very hard time sticking anything! Several of the par four holes should probably be par five holes unless you are able to completely crush them from the tee. This course is not for beginners. At the resort, there are two other courses as well. The other two are called Snow Mountain and Sun Mountain. These courses are known top be a little more friendly towards less advanced players. The resort, and the reservation that is has been built on, are owned by the Paiute Indians. These courses have a solitude about them that all other Vegas courses lack. If you want to get away from the action of the strip and get lost in your golfing game, then this is the resort for you.

As you’re flying into Vegas and landing at McCarren Airport, you can see the Bali Hai Golf Club. It is one of few courses located on the strip itself and it is one of the most unique on the planet.
