Las Vegas Nightclubs:VIP Treatment For Everyone at The Prive

Want to party like the star? Go down to Planet Hollywood’s Privé Nightclub. Owned by the Opium Group, which operates four popular night clubs in Miami , Prive isn’t your typical Las Vegas club. Dress Code is individual, Mohawks and Tattoos get more attention here. Located above the casino floor, Privé’s entrance is actually right on the floor, with an escalator leading up into the club. A round leather couch sits at the entrance surrounded by televisions playing clips from old Godzilla movies spliced together with a few more risqué films. Beautiful bar-tenders and waitresses work the uninhibited crowd. The best part is there are no ropes, no VIP areas and the club patrons are encouraged to get up on the furniture, the speakers, the tables, any where is a potential dance floor. For the prodigious drinker, there a few ways to go. Fully stocked bars are placed around the club in the most convenient of places; near the bathroom, near the entrance, off to the side, everywhere. Privé brings along with it The Living Room, another Miami-transplanted concept. With 16 seating areas, complete with bottle service, The Living Room is easily the most intimate space in the venue. Stone said the idea is a modern twist on the cozy cigar lounges of the 1940s, complete with cushy leather sofas, Persian rugs, opulent drapery and amazing granite bar.

The Prive’s hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 10p.m. to 4a.m. General admission for women (Monday, Friday and Saturday) is $20 per person. General admission for men (Monday, Friday and Saturday) is $30 per person. Front-of-Line for women (Monday, Friday and Saturday) is $40 per person but must arrive before 11 p.m. Front-of-Line for men (Monday, Friday and Saturday) is $60 per person and again you need to get there before 11 p.m. Couples (Monday, Friday and Saturday) front of the line admission is $90 per couple and that’s good for one man and one woman or two women and once again you must arrive before 11 p.m. Prive also offers VIP packages on Monday, Friday and Saturday. The Prive accepts cash and major credit cards. The music is a mixture of hip-hop, Top 40, rock and mash-ups spun by resident DJ Lil Jon. The club holds up to 1,000 people and ATMs are located inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

The Prive treats everyone like a VIP and the energy is solid. The club’s clientele is a little more fad than fashion but that works well with the atmosphere. It is located at 3667 S. Las Vegas Blvd. Las Vegas and be contacted at (702) 492-3960 or (866) 80-SHOWS. Visit their website at http://www.privelv.com/.
